Not long ago, Richard was just a simple owner of a cozy hotel in the French Valley of Folle, but after meeting Valeri d'Orse, he didn't notice how he became a partner in a company providing private detective and personal security services.

Now they are helping with security on the set of a historical film being shot nearby at the Valance castle.

At the very beginning of the filming, an actor dies under strange circumstances, and Valeri, with her characteristic enthusiasm, decides to solve this mystery.
