Camo is coming

A classic of Polish literature, honorary academician of the St. Petersburg Academy of Sciences, Henryk Sienkiewicz was a brilliant historical novelist. In 1905, he was awarded the Nobel Prize in Literature with the wording “For outstanding services in the field of epic.” "Camo Coming" is his most famous novel, which takes place during the last four years of Nero's reign (64–68 AD), during the formation of Christianity and the first acts of the apostles. Against the backdrop of historical events that forever changed the face of Western civilization, Sienkiewicz tells the tragic and difficult story of the love of a Roman aristocrat for a Christian woman persecuted by the authorities.
