The country had barely recovered from the shock of the tragic death of the Dyatlov group when, under similar mysterious circumstances, a team led by Professor Teternikov perished in the Altai mountains. It was revealed that two KGB agents had been introduced into the expedition for some reason. Fifty years later, a group of American scientists dies in a similar manner in the Chilean Cordilleras. The cause of death is unclear, the victims’ eyes are disfigured. An attack by escaped convicts? Aliens? A natural disaster? Testing of secret weapons?
