Readings for Lent. Proverbs of Holy Week.

On the most intense days of the church year preceding Great Easter—the days of Holy Week—believers are called by the Church to specially concentrate on the events of the last days of the Savior’s earthly life. Not only the corresponding fragments of the Gospel, but also the texts of the Old Testament, read during services, help to delve deeper into the meaning of these events.
