About Jesus Christ

"God became man so that man could become god" — these words of Athanasius the Great convey the essence of Christian doctrine. Two thousand years ago, the Son of God decided to become one of us. He was born of the Virgin Mary among the Jewish people and was named Jesus, to which the title Christ was later added, meaning Savior. Savior from sin and eternal death.
