South of Heaven

The time of action is five years before the events described in "The Inhabited Island".
A watcher from Earth in the Fatherland disappears under unclear circumstances. The head of one of the departments of "Komkon-2", Rudolf Sikorsky, nicknamed "The Wanderer", begins an investigation and discovers that the watcher, without the Center's sanction, was interested in the southern part of the continent and is astonished by the fact that it completely fell outside the interests of Earth. According to the missing watcher, the southern states are no less viable than those in the north. The Wanderer decides to check everything himself.
Sikorsky retraces the watcher’s path, using the traces left by him and correcting his mistakes along the way, visits a seaside town where the watcher initially based himself, the completely destroyed capital of the Empire that preceded the Fatherland, and after experiencing a lot of adventures, reaches the outwardly flourishing south. There he finds the missing watcher, traces of the activities of mysterious Wanderers, and decides to tackle the problems of Saraksh himself…
