Leaving the City

From Balbesovka, where the village houses decay and the gardens overgrow with weeds, a wave of mournful dog howling will rise. The wind will crack open the door of the abandoned — which burned down in the early 2000s — little shop by the road. There used to be homeless people sleeping there, but now — no one... And in the ravine, behind the park, little lights will joyfully dance all night.
