Oblomov

The novel by Ivan Goncharov "Oblomov" reveals to the reader the life of an ordinary nobleman, Ilya Ilyich Oblomov. Lying on the couch, the main character has pampered both his body and soul. But behind Oblomov's laziness and drowsy existence lies a mind and a pure heart, and his inactivity leads to reflections on the stagnation of life and the idleness of the landowner. The novel is included in the school literature curriculum.
