Betrayer of the Kin

The mad shogun Yorimoto is killed by the Dancing with the Storm Yukiko, and a threat of civil war looms over the Shima Empire. The plantations of poisonous blood lotus flowers continue to destroy entire territories, increasing the area of dead lands with each passing day. Members of the Lotus Guild, who worship the cult of machines, conspire to revive the ruined dynasty of the nation while simultaneously suppressing the growing unrest, lending support to the new shogun, whose only desire is to destroy Yukiko.
