"Dragon Summer"
This summer promised to be hot, long, and boring. Four friends — Zhan, Grey, Tockha, and Yurka — planned to spend it in the city. Riding bikes, playing computer games, eating ice cream and… were completely unprepared to face deadly danger. But the birds disappeared from the yard and park. Cats began to vanish from apartments. A large and formidable stray dog acquired terrible wounds on its side… Something terrifying seems to be lurking nearby. It wants to eat, it is hunting. Ready or not — the boys will try to find the monster.

"Monster Reserve"
Varya was so happy about moving to a new apartment! It seemed this place was just perfect for her and her mom. Neither the unbelievably low price nor the strange landlord bothered her. And even though it's the first floor, she would have her own room, and she would choose the wallpaper and curtains herself — especially since they immediately threw away the old curtains. And outside the window, the yard became visible. At first glance, there was nothing special about it, but at the second glance, there was nothing ordinary. It turned out that it was impossible to get there just by walking around the house. There lived... not quite people. And among them — one real monster. It's a pity that Varya realized this too late.

Oleg Kozhin is a laureate of the "Masters of Horror", "Devil's Dozen", and other awards. The story "Dragon Summer" was shortlisted for the all-Russian award "Kniguru". The author lives in Petrozavodsk.
