Dietrich Dörner is a professor and dean of the Department of General and Theoretical Psychology at the Institute of Theoretical Psychology at Otto Friedrich University in Bamberg, Germany. In 1986, he received the Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz Prize from the German Research Foundation, which is the most prestigious award in Germany for research.
