This collection includes works by Zabolotsky, written during different periods—from his youthful works, created under the influence of Acmeism, to his later ones, composed in his final years, summarizing the poet's entire life and philosophical experience. The book includes the well-known poems “Kissed and Enchanted...” and “Do not let your soul be lazy...” and the romance “In this birch grove...”, profoundly performed by Vyacheslav Tikhonov in the film “We'll Live Till Monday.”
