Antique Rogue

An elderly scientist, Oleg Zhurin, an old acquaintance of Colonel Gurov, has died. At first glance, the death appears to be natural. However, upon autopsy, a strange combination of incompatible medications in large doses was found in the deceased's blood. The detective discovers that after the death of his wife, the scientist became involved with a young mistress. She confessed during interrogation that she indeed wanted to marry the rich old man, but did not wish for his demise. Gurov sets up surveillance on the Zhurin's apartment and one evening notices a light in their window and a familiar silhouette… the deceased wife of the scientist…
