Several months ago, Norman Osborn, a former villain in a suit known as the Green Goblin, became the head of the government spy agency H.A.M.M.E.R., as well as the leader of the superhero team within this organization: the "Avengers." Osborn recruited powerful beings he could trust, as well as supervillains in heroic guises.

But one of the members resisted Norman's charm: the Wonder Boy left the Avengers, realizing that he was being used. In his opinion, if it doesn't benefit you directly, it's not worth the effort.

Recently, Logan learned that "Weapon X" was part of the "Weapon Plus" program, and he himself was the tenth in a series of living weapons created by a top-secret living mechanism called the World. One of these weapons, Weapon XIII, is an international-level thief, a mysterious masked man, and an expert in combat and illusions named Fantomex. He was the one who revealed the truth about "Weapon X" to Logan, and together they destroyed the World. Or so they thought...
