Nikolai Albertovich Kun (1877–1940) — a Russian historian of the turn of the 19th–20th centuries, who studied the culture and religion of the peoples of the world. Published in 1912 and never reissued, «Myths and Tales of the Peoples of... Africa» — the first major independent research by the author. The book preserves photographs and illustrations from the original edition.
