Nikolai Albertovich Kun (1877–1940) — a Russian historian of the turn of the 19th–20th centuries, who studied the culture and religion of the peoples of the world. Published in 1912 and not reissued since, «Myths and Tales of the Peoples of Africa» is the author's first major independent research. The book retains photographs and illustrations from the original publication.
