The scientist and inventor Gabriel Myrt is ready to present his new creation to the public - a dirigible! Together with his loyal companion Amelia Econit, he must travel the distance from Lundenburgh to Edenesburgh, thus inscribing himself again into the history of the British Isles! However, it is not so simple -- Mr. Myrt has not only the ambitions of a scientist but also a duty to Britain, and the path leads him to the mysterious Hills of Caledonia -- a refuge of the fae, long departed from the human world.
