“Chinese Shadows” — a collection of memoiristic prose by Georgy Ivanov (1894–1958).
Ivanov was called the last living poet of the Silver Age. But he became famous not only for his magnificent poems but also for his memoirs. After the publication of individual essays, angry replies came from Marina Tsvetaeva, Anna Akhmatova, and Igor Severyanin.
