«Friluftsliv, or being outdoors, — is the meeting of nature and man and that value we create during this time; in simpler terms, it is building personal relationships with nature through direct interaction. The way to choose is up to you. Friluftsliv can be quite simple, like an evening walk around the neighborhood, or very advanced, like a multi-day hike with a backpack to distant and wild places, or something in between. You can enjoy it alone, with friends or family, or in the company of like-minded people. It is an acquaintance with nature, but without a schedule and theoretical classes in the classroom.
