Tales of Old Russia - a visual reinterpretation of folklore characters, which Roman Papsuev started in 2015. Thus, the magical world of Belosvetya appeared, where well-known fairy-tale heroes and creatures of Slavic mythology found new life. Over 6 years, 4... art books, artistic books, and souvenirs have been published. After working on them, a lot of sketches, notes, and character development details accumulated. We decided to publish them as a separate collection. It includes sketches of Roman Papsuev's famous works and many new things: from rough scribbles and notes in the margins to detailed illustrations that made it into the final layouts of the art books.
