Poems about Russia

Perhaps there is no Russian poet who has not written about Russia, who has not contemplated its fate. A. Pushkin, M. Lermontov, F. Tyutchev, N. Nekrasov, A. Blok, M. Tsvetaeva, S. Yesenin, N. Rubtsov, R. Rozhdestvensky – the list could go on and on – left beautiful lines about their homeland. Each of them had their own Russia, from which they never separated themselves, even when they found themselves in a foreign land. The beauty of fields, forests, rivers and lakes, the bright colors of changing seasons, rural and urban landscapes, heartwarming images, the mysterious soul of the Russian person – all of this is the glass pieces of a kaleidoscope that one can look into endlessly.
