The Niles Mother of God

The novel «The Niles Mother of God» by French-Rwandan writer Scholastique Mukasonga made it to the shortlist of the British award «Republic of Consciousness» in 2022, receiving excellent reviews from renowned literary critics. The book was also included in the «Great Jubilee Reading List» during the celebration of Queen Elizabeth II's Platinum Jubilee. In 2019, «The Niles Mother of God» was adapted into a film by the famous French-Afghan director Atiq Rahimi.
