This captivating story is about a ten-year-old boy who enters an underground kingdom, receives a wonderful... gift, and then loses a friend due to his cowardice. The fairy tale teaches children honesty, loyalty, and kindness.
The text of the manual is adapted for educational purposes to the Beginner level. After each chapter, exercises are provided aimed at expanding vocabulary, practicing grammatical constructions, and developing speaking skills. New words are included in a glossary placed at the end of the book.
The manual is intended for students in grades 3-4 of schools, gymnasiums, and lyceums.
