The most anticipated novel of the year, translated by Alexandra Borisenko, Anastasia Zavozova, and Viktor Sonkin.
- International bestseller - Finalist of the National Book Award - Winner of the Kirkus Prize - Book of the Year on Amazon
American author Hanya Yanagihara has created an unusual novel where...
both the terrible and the joyful are spoken about without excessive pathos and sentimentality. Four friends - talented architect Malcolm, aspiring actor Willem, self-assured artist JB, and brilliant lawyer and mathematician Jude - try to succeed in New York, but it turns out that neither career, nor money, nor fame can cope with the past if it is stronger than life...
The book contains strong language.
