Gather your unusual quest and invite your friends to find a way out of it!
Hello, I am the voice assistant Alina! I want to play a game with you… Today you will go through a quest consisting of tasks in different rooms. To exit the room, you need a key – the correct word or phrase. The problem is that this key is known only to one person in your team, and it must be said all together. Whether you get out of the room depends on how well you can explain words and phrases in various ways. Shall we play?
How to play?
I will briefly tell you about the game process. Don’t think that I want to help you. I just love to keep everything fair.
- Choose a player. They will explain the word or phrase to their team in the specified way (sometimes the method can be chosen by themselves, sometimes they need to explain as the game suggests).
- The participant draws a card from the corresponding deck. Decide in advance which number of words you will explain today.
- Time is set – one minute (unless stated otherwise). During this time, the player explains the word or phrase to their team.
- Participants must name the word or phrase exactly as it is written on the card. Only in this case, the answer will be counted.
- If the team guessed the word within the allocated time, the participants move their token forward. If not – it stays in place (unless stated otherwise). The turn passes to the other team.
- When the team enters a new room, it is necessary to check if there is a trap or a bonus in it. For this, any player from the team draws a trap or bonus card.
- If the card is empty, the game continues according to the normal rules.
- If there is a bonus or trap on the card, the action prescribed by that card must be performed.
- The team cannot leave the room until they complete the task or until the trap and bonus cards require it. If for some reason the team returns to a previously passed room, its participants draw a new trap and bonus card for that room.
Explanation methods that you will definitely encounter: “Show” (mime and gestures), “Speak” (verbal explanation of words), “Draw”. There is also a new method – “Anyhow”: sounds, doodles, snake language, and more. I won’t reveal all the secrets.
The team that first completes the task of the last room or first opens and passes all the rooms will win.
Now you know even more than necessary, and I will have to kill you… Haha, just kidding! Did you laugh? It’s time to play! One, two, three, find the exit from the closed party...
Inside you will find
- 380 cards.
- 32 room tiles.
- Hourglass.
- 4 team tokens.
- Game rules.
