The beautiful and free-spirited wife of the head of the Kitamiyagawa family is constantly surrounded by men and dedicates every day to them. An eccentric husband, an insecure son who longs for his mother, an overly devoted driver, a promising cook who became a prime minister, and a former lover – all these characters make up the colorful mosaic of her chaotic life. However, sometimes the routine of sinful connections can end in a loud scandal. Then a light comedy of manners will turn into a tragedy with the accompanying losses and separations typical of this genre.
