Transcending God

"Transcending God. A Guide for Beginners" – this is, on one hand, a collection of the main arguments that an atheist can arm themselves with in a debate with believers, and on the other hand, a vast excursion into the history of religions and beliefs with a detailed analysis of why these beliefs arose, what gods they represented, why it was necessary to worship them, and ultimately, why these gods were forgotten. Or why they will be forgotten – if we are talking about modern religions. Dawkins selected the most vivid examples, the clearest explanations, the most illustrative intellectual experiments, and the most eloquent facts to try to prove once and for all: God is an illusion that humanity must rid itself of in order to evolve further. Whether he succeeded in this – is for the reader to decide.
