Having discovered who was hiding behind Jack the Ripper's mask, saddened and distressed Audrey Rose Wadsworth leaves London for Romania. Together with another student of her uncle, the charming Thomas Creswell, she arrives at Bran Castle – it is not only one of the best forensic medicine schools in the world but also the home of Vlad the Impaler, whose thirst for blood has become legendary.
The girl happily immerses herself in her studies, however, soon crimes begin to occur in the castle and its surroundings, and people whisper that Vlad Dracula has returned. But Audrey Rose is sure that it is the work of an imitator, and this means that she must once again find the criminal. The only question is, will she be able to survive another shock and cope with such a dangerous task?
