The Tale of Troika

The employees of the NIIChAVO arrive in Kitizhgrad with the aim of obtaining a number of wonderful items and beings from the local officials for their institute, among them: the Talking Bug, the Octopus Spiridon, and the Snowman Fedor. However, the Troika on Rationalization and Utilization of Unexplained Phenomena, which possesses absolute power and outrageous ignorance, hinders their work. Privalov and his friends understand that battling the fairytale bureaucrats is only possible with their bureaucratic methods.
The book also includes a second version of the story, representing a revision of the original text towards reducing the most acute satirical moments.
