Charles the Bold

The novel by the famous master of the historical-adventure genre, the classic of English and world literature Sir Walter Scott (1771-1832) tells about the "last knight of the European court" Charles the Bold, Duke of Burgundy, an untamed proud man, an opponent of absolute monarchy, and his arch-enemy - French King Louis XI.
