You are a perceptive detective and are well-regarded by the police department. Enough resting: you are called to three new investigations. Gather a team of experts from your friends and examine the smallest details of the crimes together. Your team awaits: a mysterious murder of a scientist who worked for the FBI; an old wealthy man who died after touching a cursed ancient letter, according to family legend; a conflict rapidly escalating between mafia groups. Figure it out, catch the criminals and stop them!

This series of detective work simulators has been well received by the gaming community: Detective: A Modern Crime Boardgame was nominated for the Golden Geek Awards in four categories, and the As d'Or jury recognized it as the best game for experts. "Detective. Season One" is a standalone game that ideologically continues the series but keeps evolving. The rules of the game have changed slightly: the sessions are shorter, and each case is now narratively unrelated to the others. This allows you to play different investigations with different people without explaining what happened before. Work as a team, try to think as logically as possible, be attentive, and don’t miss the smallest details of the investigation – false hypotheses can lead you to a dead end, and every second can be crucial.
