Much more than from a shard stuck in his head, Mark Lucas suffers from emotional pain due to a car accident, for which he is responsible because his wife and unborn child died in it. Mark finds hope to return to life when he learns about a psychiatric experiment that could free him from unbearable, torturous memories.
