Airport

"Airport" is a bestselling novel by Arthur Hailey, published in 1968. The fictional city where the largest airport is located is unexpectedly hit by a snowstorm, causing all services to operate in emergency mode.

Airport staff are faced with one problem after another, from a truck with supplies that has mysteriously disappeared to a terrible accident on one of the planes.

To top it all off, the main characters' personal problems worsen, their complex emotional dramas - this tangled web of plotlines forms the action of the novel, all taking place in one Friday evening.

A film based on the novel "Airport" was made in 1970 with leading Hollywood actors - ten Oscar nominations!

After this adaptation, three sequels were released.
