The Killer's Reflex

The mid-eighties. The KGB is developing one of the high-ranking security officials, suspecting him of collaborating with British intelligence. Evidence has been collected, but at the last moment, the target manages to avoid arrest and hide abroad. KGB Major Maria Pogodina realizes that such an escape cannot be accomplished alone; someone has helped the traitor. The suspicion falls on Defense Ministry employee Anna Shatrova. Surveillance established on her reveals a number of "suspicious" contacts. Just a little more, and the trap will close... But at the last moment, Shatrova makes an unexpected move that stumps Major Pogodina...
