Desert Roses

Three sisters live in a small Turkmen village in a mountain gorge. The eldest, Aina, is about to get married. According to family tradition, the two younger sisters weave a carpet for her wedding. To ensure the carpet brings joy... to the home, it must be woven with love and prayers. But how can this be achieved if one of the sisters is consumed by jealousy towards the other? Gula cannot stand being around Makhri, for everyone considers her sister skilled and beautiful. Even the boy whom Gula secretly dreams of has started courting Makhri. Because of this, the girl is very troubled and angry. She is tormented by feelings of guilt, as their carpet is woven without love. What can Gula do if she cannot even share her problems with anyone?
