One of the military leaders from the country of Tiger, Garel, embarks on a mission behind enemy lines to gather information about the opponent before the war begins. But the meeting with the ruler of the Dragon country, Emperor Yukinari, changes not only his life but also his thoughts: he returns to the ideals he embraced in childhood when his heart was still not hardened.
