Throughout its long history, the temple has been demolished numerous times, but each time, like a phoenix, it has risen anew from the ashes. You have been chosen by Maharaja Ranjit Singh himself for a responsible mission – to restore the Golden Temple. Gather workers, stock up on materials, and return one of India's main shrines to its former beauty.What does it take to build a temple?
In the game "Amritsar: The Golden Temple," players will represent different personalities of that time who helped the Maharaja restore the Golden Temple. The game lasts 3 rounds – three decades during which a large-scale reconstruction took place. Each player is personally assigned several experienced workers and an elephant by the great Maharaja. Each turn, they perform 1 to 3 game actions, depending on how well they are coordinated by the player. Actions include gathering resources in the quarry or at the market, advancing along the paths of knowledge, improving the player's personal board, receiving help from their personal elephant driver, and finally, most importantly – making offerings for the reconstruction of the temple.Pride of India
By performing actions, players will earn the necessary prestige points to win. With each new offering, the great Golden Temple will grow and flourish before your eyes. The more offerings a player makes, the more prestige points the temple will bring them. The game ends after all actions have been completed in the third decade. At the end of the game, the participant with the most prestige will be declared the winner and receive personal gratitude from the Maharaja.Contents
