«Mikonki» – an interesting and useful game for children, with which little ones will learn to argue their choices, develop associative thinking, and analyze the material world.
Preparation for the game:
Shuffle the cards. Each player receives 5 cards and places them...
in front of themselves with the object side up. Place the remaining cards in a stack in the center of the table with the Characteristics side up. Take one card from the top of the deck and place it next to the deck — this is the active card.
Game play:
The game is started by the youngest player. Then the turn proceeds clockwise. On their turn, a player looks at the Characteristic on the active card in the center of the table. If at least one of their cards has this characteristic, they take that card and place it on top of the active card with the Characteristic side up. It becomes the new active card. If none of their cards has the required characteristic, the player takes the top card from the deck. If it has this characteristic, the player immediately places it on top of the active card, and if not, they add it to their cards. Then the turn passes to the next player.
End of the game:
When a player gets rid of their last card, the game ends, and they are declared the winner.
