Silent Faces

At the end of the 19th century, in a small Scandinavian town of Grimswick, strange, horrifying events begin to unfold: children disappear, and at night, the residents are tormented by inexplicable terrifying sounds. Everyone is convinced that a terrible curse has descended upon the town. No one can find the culprit, and the townspeople gradually lose hope. One evening, another child, Erik, is attempted to be kidnapped from the orphanage. The boy saw the kidnapper – it was an unkempt, terrifying man with a scar on his chest. Soon, a strange stranger is discovered on the outskirts of the town, who remembers neither his name nor how he ended up there. Erik testifies against him: it is the very vagrant with wild eyes who tried to steal him. The suspect is stripped of his shirt: on his chest is a healed scar… The man immediately becomes the main suspect…
