From Rus to Russia

The final book of the outstanding domestic scholar L.N. Gumilev is dedicated to the history of Russia from the times of Rurik to the reign of Peter I, in which all events and actions of historical figures are explained from the positions of the author's developed passionate theory of ethnogenesis. It is shown that the creation of Russia in the vast spaces of Eurasia was logical from the perspective of nature and history, and our Russian superethnos is 500 years younger than the Western European one, and it possesses different behavior stereotypes. The narrative is conducted in a lively, vivid language, engaging and accessible.
