Ursula Wirtz obtained her PhD and Philology degree at Munich University, a clinical psychology diploma and an anthropology degree at Zurich University, and a diploma in analytical psychology from the Jung Institute in Zurich. She is a lecturer, Jungian analyst, and training supervisor, and the author of the books "The Murder of the Soul: Incest and Therapy," "Thirst for Meaning: Man in Extreme Situations. The Limits of Psychotherapy."
