Anatography. Atlas of the Human Body

This book began with thousands of layered cross-sectional images of the human body created as part of The Visible Human ProjectTM. Each micro-slice was carefully examined and digitized, resulting in an unprecedentedly detailed three-dimensional reconstruction of the human body - which serves as the basis for the illustrative material in this publication. "Anatography" is a unique visual aid that provides anatomically accurate images, precisely conveying the location of organs in the body and fully corresponding to real parameters. 
Its purpose is to help understand and comprehend how the incredible mechanism called "the human body" is structured and how 11 different systems function to sustain life within us and ensure the survival of the entire human species.
