Eduard Veniaminovich Limonov is known as a prose writer, social philosopher, and politician. But Limonov started out as a poet. This is how he presented himself in his most famous novel "This is me, Edichka": I am a Russian poet. Limonov's poetry has received high praise from such specialists as Alexander Zholkovsky and Joseph Brodsky. Limonov's poetic voice is unique, and his contribution to the history of national and world literature will still be contemplated.

Returning to writing poetry in the last two decades of his life, Limonov left a huge poetic legacy. So far, there have been no attempts to gather and classify it.

This volume introduces the first unique collection of Limonov’s poetry. In addition to his lifetime books, it includes uncensored self-published collections, poems from separate manuscripts and typewritten documents, and other results of archival research that began during Limonov's lifetime and was only completed now. More than two hundred examples of small and large poetic forms will be published in this collection for the first time.
