The Royal Academy of Rohini is considered the best school in the world - mainly because the Queen of Light is chosen from its students, whose duty is to protect all existence from the machinations of the forces of darkness.... In reality, this position is purely symbolic - the bloody wars between good and evil are far in the past, and fierce demons are securely locked at the bottom of the abyss. Therefore, the bearer of the proud title of Queen is initially doomed to idleness - and universal reverence! When the time comes to choose a new queen, the most likely contenders for the throne are the beautiful, polite, and diligent Lucia, and the hot-tempered, carefree, and somewhat lazy June. The rivalry between such dissimilar candidates is further complicated by the fact that both girls are in love with their mysterious classmate Sejura. However, this last circumstance seems trivial compared to the ancient demons finding a way to escape from their prison and now preparing to unleash the wrath accumulated over many centuries of confinement upon innocent people.
