The Royal Academy of Rohini is considered the best school in the world - primarily because from among its students, the Queen of Light is chosen, whose duty is to protect all existence from the machinations of dark forces. In... reality, this position is purely symbolic - the bloody wars between good and evil are a thing of the distant past, and the ferocious demons are securely locked at the bottom of the abyss. Therefore, the bearer of the proud title of Queen is initially doomed to idleness - and universal reverence! When the time comes to choose a new queen, the most likely candidates for the throne become the beautiful, polite, and diligent Lucia and the hot-tempered, careless, and slightly lazy June. The rivalry between such dissimilar candidates is further complicated by the fact that both girls are in love with their enigmatic classmate Sejura. However, this last circumstance seems utterly trivial compared to the fact that ancient demons have found a way to escape from their prison and are now preparing to unleash the wrath that has accumulated over many centuries of incarceration upon innocent people.
