The Royal Academy of Rohini is considered the best school in the world - primarily because from among its students, the Queen of Light is chosen, whose duties include protecting all existence from the machinations of dark forces. In reality, this position is purely symbolic - bloody wars between good and evil are a thing of the distant past, and fierce demons are reliably locked at the bottom of the abyss. Therefore, the bearer of the proud title of Queen is initially doomed to idleness - and universal reverence! When the time comes to elect a new queen, the most likely contenders for the throne are the beautiful, polite, and diligent Lucia and the hot-tempered, carefree, and slightly lazy June. The rivalry between such dissimilar candidates is complicated by the fact that both girls are in love with their mysterious classmate Sejura. However, this last circumstance seems completely trivial compared to the fact that ancient demons have found a way to escape their prison and are now preparing to unleash the accumulated rage of centuries of confinement upon innocent people.
