James has always had one goal: to destroy his enemy, Peter Michaels. When Peter’s twenty-year-old daughter, Wendy, appears in James's bar, he realizes how he can do it. Seduce the girl and use her for his revenge. The plan seems... perfect until things in the organization start to fall apart. He has to look for a traitor, and gradually James realizes: Wendy may play a more important role in his game. For most of her life, Wendy has lived in seclusion with her wealthy, cold father, but a spontaneous party with friends leads to a romance with the brooding James. Wendy knows he is dangerous, but cannot resist her attraction to him. Their passions heat up, and their connection becomes stronger. The girl becomes increasingly immersed in the real, brutal world of the guy and ponders who she has fallen in love with: an ordinary man named James, or a monster known as Hook.
