In the parking lot near the Istra Reservoir, a minibus is found. Its passengers are immobilized. Five of them are dead. The examination established that the cause of their death was gas poisoning, specifically released into the cabin. Police colonels Gurov and Kryachko investigate that all victims – a writer, a poet, a musician, an artist, and a sculptor – were part of a group that arrived for a specially organized creative meeting. Moreover, one of the deceased was listed as its direct organizer. Realizing that this incident cannot be called a coincidence, the detectives study the biography of each of the victims.
