Georgy Vladimirovich Ivanov – a Russian poet and prose writer, the most prominent author of the first wave of emigration.

The book transports the reader to the streets and embankments of the post-revolutionary city, to the café "The Basement of the Stray Dog", to the tower apartment of Vyacheslav Ivanov. The pages bring to life the figures of the Silver Age writers: Akhmatova, Mandelstam, Kuzmin, Sologub, Yesenin, Gumilyov, and many others.
