The Last Gift of the Lost Paradise. Poets of the Russian Emigration of the 1920s–1940s

The poems of émigré poets are a vast layer of our culture, our precious heritage. Among the "first wave" of émigrés were many poets who created at the same highest level on which the Silver Age in Russia was interrupted. About each of them, one could write, if not an exhilarating novel, then a sad lyrical tale, which is easily guessed in the brief biographical essays. But the main thing is the poetry, beautiful and bitter, full of love for the homeland, which continued to live in the hearts of the poets.
